- Reverse (flip or mirror) the image before printing.
- In print driver, select image to be printed and preferred resolution. Use "laser paper/plain" selection.
- Fan sheets of paper on all four sides to reduce static charge.
- Load transfer paper so blank side receives image.
|
- Preheat heat press to 375°F/190°C.

TransferWear UltraSoft is recommended
for use in the following:
- Ricoh® Laser Copiers
- Alps®/Citizen®/Oki® Dry-Resin Printers
- Matan™ Sprinter
- Matan™ Spark 1612
- Indigo® Digital Presses
Helpful Tips:
- Often the first print from a dry-resin printer has white banding.
Run regular paper first if this happens.
- Never pull paper to remove it from a printer as it will cause
rollers to realign.
- Use "laser paper" setting. This allows you to place a number of
sheets in the feed tray at once. With this setting, you will need
to mirror the image in the print driver.
- In order to minimize the possibility of the print head melting, or
spreading the polymer film, use the following settings in driver:
- Document Type: Photographs
- Media/Quality: Iron-on Setting
- If the printer accidentally prints on the platen, all subsequent
prints will have small spots and poor print quality. To fix, open
front door and slide print head assembly to one side. Use a strip
of sticky packing tape and affix it to the platen. Rub the tape to
affix it. Slowly peel off tape, and repeat until platen is clean.
- Toners darken with heat, so images on transfer should be slightly
lighter than normal. Increase brightness by 10% if image has
flesh tones, dark shadows or heavy saturation.

CMW, Inc. conducts exhaustive testing on all its products, using
many types of substrates, printers, copiers, heat presses, irons,
