Helpful Tips:
- Room temperature should be about 75°F. Allow paper to
acclimate 12-24 hours prior to use.
- Determine the grain direction of your paper. If 8.5 " x 11" paper was purchased, it is long grain and should be fed from the Letter R tray. If the paper has been cut down from 11" x 17" paper, it is now short-grain paper and should be fed from the Letter tray.
- Use humidifier or dehumidifier to achieve 40% relative humidity.
- Color laser copiers should be checked every 30,000 copies.
- Copiers should run on their own circuit.
- Empty toner waste boxes at least once a year.
- Poor color after adjustment may mean starter should be replaced.
- TransferWear premium requires less toner than ordiary paper.
- Toners darken with heat--transfer image should be light.
- Clean glass on color laser copiers often.
- After every 50 transfers, use a sheet of laser cleaning paper.
- Do not store transfer paper in copier tray, but it should be stored in same area and conditions.

Printer & Copier Inks
CMW, Inc. offers papers for inkjet, laser, thermal wax and sublimation printers and copiers. In all cases, our papers are optimized to perform with OEM inks and toners. CMW does not warrant use of aftermarket inks and toners, and cannot guarantee satisfactory results. We recommend that you test any non-OEM inks or toners prior to use. Please visit our knowledge base at www.cmwi.com for more information.
Product Quality Assurance
CMW, Inc. conducts exhaustive testing on all its products, using
many types of substrates, printers, copiers, heat presses, irons,
and laundry detergents. However, it is impossible to duplicate
all printing and transfer processes, so we recommend testing
your chosen paper to determine its suitability to your needs
and equipment. Please visit our knowledge base at
