Recommended for use in color laser printers that do not use fuser oil
Printing Instructions
  • Set copier/printer settings to "heavy/card stock".
  • Fan sheets of paper on all four sides to reduce static charge.
  • Load transfer paper so blank side receives image. If paper is notched, print side will be facing you when notch is in upper right corner.
Preparing to Transfer
  • Preheat heat press to 400 °F/205°C.
  • Trim away any unprinted paper, leaving 1/8" border around image.
  • Choose white or light-colored substrate made of 100% cotton, cotton/poly blend, or 100% polyester.
Transferring with Commercial Heat Press
  • Place wrinkle-free garment on press pad.
  • Place transfer on garment, image side down.
  • Press at 400 °F/205°C with high pressure for 15 seconds.
  • Remover from heat and peel transfer immediately.
Washing Instructions
  • Wash garment seperately (first time only). Turn inside out.
  • Machine wash cold with color-safe detergent. No bleach.
  • Remove promptly from washer to prevent bleeding. If bleeding occurs, rewash immediately.
  • Tumble dry with low heat. Add towels to facilitate drying.
  • If garment needs ironing, do not iron directly on transfer.
Storage and Handling
  • For best results, store paper in your location for 12-24 hours prior to use.
  • Store unopened in cool, dry place.
  • After opening, store unused paper in resealable poly bags.

TransferWear CLP is recommended for use in the following:

  • HP® 4500
  • HP® 4550
  • HP® 8500
  • HP® 8550
  • Canon® Image Class 2100

Helpful Tips:

  • Room temperature should be about 75°F. Allow paper to
acclimate 12-24 hours prior to use.
  • Determine the grain direction of your paper. If 8.5 " x 11" paper was purchased, it is long grain and should be fed from the Letter R tray. If the paper has been cut down from 11" x 17" paper, it is now short-grain paper and should be fed from the Letter tray.
  • Use humidifier or dehumidifier to achieve 40% relative humidity.
